The Primary Years Programme: Early Years
A World of Wonder Awaits
In the PYP Early Years at Whole Education Academy, our students aged 3 to 5 embark on an exciting journey of discovery. Through purposeful play and inquiry-based learning, we unlock the innate curiosity and creativity that lies within every child.
Our warm, nurturing environment provides a safe space for young learners to explore, experiment, and make sense of the world around them. Our experienced educators thoughtfully design engaging learning experiences that address the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical needs of each child.

Whole Curriculum
The most natural approach for children to discover and identify the world is via games. We create circumstances that are relevant to children’s life, pique their curiosity, lead them to inquire and find solutions, and encourage them to open up in play through music rhythms, visual arts, and theatre performance.
In the process of hands-on scientific exploration, children’s imagination and creativity are constantly stimulated. They try to express their understanding in various ways. They gradually develop their problem-solving, inquiry, and logical thinking skills, and they learn to perceive the world from a scientific perspective.
By learning different languages, experiencing different customs and foods, taking part in various activities, children nurture their minds, broaden their horizons, and foster their understanding and respect for multiculturalism, and becoming a global citizen with international-mindedness and a lifelong love of learning.
We help children cultivate international mindedness, empathy, and tolerance through the diets of different countries. In the hands-on process, not only can they experience the joy of making world cuisines, but they can also taste delicious specialties.
- Outdoor inquiry
Enough time spent in the great outdoors, as well as diverse and engaging physical activities, will help them maintain a healthy body and reach their full potential.
We provide children with the opportunity to experience the outdoors, taking them to parks, beaches, botanical gardens, museums, science museums, zoos, shopping centers, and social organizations (food banks, nursing homes, etc.) to learn about the world in-person. Field trips provide children with opportunities to foster life skills/interpersonal skills.
